8 lb weight loss!
Was excited to wake up this morning to discover I’ve lost 8 lbs. Not bad in a 19 day span, if I do say so myself. Amazing how making just a small change can change things so big. I just hope it keeps up.
I haven’t been perfectly strict either. I go over my carb levels, but I suspect that since I’m not going overboard on bread and pasta, the vegetable carbs are ok.
Could probably lose more, maybe a bit faster, if I dropped the carb intake but I’m just not sure I want to do that. I have to rewire my whole way of thinking, and a huge drawback for me for going really low carb is that you cannot just blow the diet, as I like to do periodically. You have to start over with the whole ketosis thing, and I have a problem with “starting over.” I prefer to be able to continue.
