Weighing In
Got on the scale this morning and I’ve lost another 3 pounds, which makes a grand total of 69 pounds. I didn’t think I was going to lose any more for a while - I thought I was at a plateau, even though I’ve had people tell me I look like I lost more.
Bit of a sigh of relief there.
Halloween candy won this week, although not too terribly bad. I ate 3 Reeses butter cups and a Reeses cake or cracker thingy (although I do confess if there were more of these things I would have had my way with them, luckily there was only one!) And as ingredients go, I really could have done worse - there was no high fructose corn syrup in them, I don’t know what the calorie/fat count was on them.
All in all, an improvement. Last year I would have eaten the whole bag.
































Sounds like you’re doing great. I think you’ve hit upon one of the secrets of weight loss, which is portion control. You don’t need to give up things that you like (even candy), just don’t eat so much of it! Well done

Thank you for the vote of confidence. I usually don’t exert that much control when it comes to sweet stuff or candy. I think my taste is changing.
