This week has been really stressful. It’s bad enough with the adjustment of back to school – and babyboy immediately
launching into bad eating mode. Geez. Third day of school, what does he get? Why cupcakes for some kid’s birthday and ice cream on top of that.
I’m ready to pull my hair out. Truly I am.
And yet other kids are noticing his weight loss and commenting on it. So I keep stressing this, see, we notice the change, that’s why it’s so important to keep up what he’s been doing.
I think it’s going in one ear and out the other.
On top of school, we’re thrown right back into scouts. Which I’m not ready for. I’m the pack advance chairperson for our pack, and this is my last year doing it. YAY! But the bad news is that I have to train the new advance chairperson, and the leaders as well, since I had the brilliant (stupid?) idea of getting the leaders to use the software I use to record awards. In the long run it will take the pressure off the advance chairperson, put more responsibility for awards on the leaders but the training – egads! And I get to write up tutorials.
To top it off, I’ve been really bad about recording my food log. I haven’t blown it, but I haven’t written it down, and for me that’s a bad thing. The other half decides to bring home all kinds of cheese – fat free, but still. I love cheese (even if it is fat free) and I find it really really tempting.
Woe is me.
