1/2 cup dry sherry
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons minced fresh peeled fresh ginger
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons Srriracha (hot chili sauce, such as Huy
Fong)
1/4 teaspoon five spice powder
1 garlic clove, minced
1. Combine all ingredients, in a small saucepan over
medium heat; bring to a simmer. Cook sherry mixture 5
minutes, stirring frequently.
Yield: 1/2 cups (serving size: 2 tablespoons).
