I saw a recipe today that called for fat free half and half. I did a double take on that: I’ve never heard of it nor have I noticed it in the store. But yes, there it is right on land o lakes website.
Isn’t the term fat free half and half kind of an oxymoron? I mean, if half and half is half cream and half whole milk, and you take the fat out of these two things, wouldn’t you have skim milk?? Oh my. This is a true conundrum.
