If you’re having a problem with acne, you might want to try a low glycemic diet. A study done in Australia indicates a low GI diet might help.
The improvement in acne and insulin sensitivity after a low-glycemic-load diet suggests that nutrition-related lifestyle factors may play a role in the pathogenesis of acne. However, further studies are needed to isolate the independent effects of weight loss and dietary intervention and to further elucidate the underlying pathophysiologic mechanisms.

Heck, when I was a kid we tried every thing to get rid of zits or acne.
And, while the you diet isn’t specifically Low GI, I have monitored the GI at nutritiondata.com and I think I do pretty well. I don’t get the zits like I was.
