Between Meal Snacking
If you ever needed a reason to eat between meals, here it is, folks!
I eat, if not constantly, near constantly. For yesterdays food log (not up yet so don’t look for it), I kept track of the times I ate,
and even though there is a gap in the afternoon, the evening hours pretty much represent how I eat. Right up until I go to bed.
Maybe this explains why I am not diabetic, even at my size. Things that make you go hmmmm…..
“There’s even evidence that spreading calories out in frequent mini-meals and snacks requires less insulin, which can reduce your risk of developing diabetes,” says David Katz, M.D., M.P.H., director of the Yale Prevention Research Center in New Haven, Connecticut. “Snacking helps you avoid the waning of energy that comes with consuming large meals.”
