Day 148 – Food Log
I’ve been craving pickles in a big way the last week. Sweet pickles. Bread and butter pickles. The problem is, with both sweet and the bread and butter, is the first ingredient on the label is high fructose corn syrup. Which is a big no-no. So yesterday, I went shopping for my mother who likes a certain type of pickle, which does not include bread and butter, sweet or kosher. She likes a plain, regular pickle. Specifically, she likes the kind you can get at say, Mcdonalds or Burger King. While looking for her pickles, I discovered that Mt Olive has a no sugar added product line, and lo and behold, I discovered a bread and butter pickle with no sugar.
Darn things are good, too!
