Boise Chemist Creates Weight-Loss Lip Balm

A Boise-based chemist is making a big promise. Really big. Glenn Mouser is the vice-president of research and development at Omega Tech Labs, and he’s created a new lip balm that claims to help you lose weight.
The lip treatment is called Promise. It is a blend of essential oils and extracts intended to curb the appetite – specifically targeting the desire for sweets and large meals. Apparently it is a very easy weight-loss plan. But creating Promise was not nearly as easy: The Idaho native says he says he’s been working on the secret blend of Promise for a few years, stirring up batches of his natural cosmetics in a Boise warehouse.
