Teriyaki Sauce
1-1/2 c. water
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 c. brown sugar, packed (light or dark)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
2 T. cornstarch
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Whisk to mix well. Bring to a
boil, stirring constantly. Take off heat and cool completely to room
temperature before using.
Yield: 1-1/2 cups
